Our family!

Busy couple of days.

I have been pretty busy in the last couple of days. Thankfully our dryer was repaired and we did not have to buy another one. We finally received our packet for our home study. It contained all the documents we would be required to submit. I spent most of Wednesday gathering and copying all the necessary documents. Part of the home study required us to write our individual autobiographies. They give a list of everything to be included in it and some questions that should be answered within it. I believe there were like 100 points to hit on. Although it was formatted as a list we had to write it in paragraph form. I was told that the usual biographies were from 4-14 pages long and is considered one of the most essential parts to the home study. No pressure huh?

So last night I spent a couple of hours typing away at my computer until mentally I was just drained. After a quick run to the social security office this morning I went to work on it again. After 5 hours I finished my autobiography and ended up with 6 pages. After a while my thoughts got muddled and am hoping that I hit on every question with enough detail. I emailed our SW with it and hope if something is missing she can steer me in the right direction. It is amazing how I am just plain tired. It is just after noon here and stick a fork in me I am done. Now my husband has to complete his :)

Some good news from it all is that we have our first meeting with our SW on Friday the 25th. Our references received their letters and will be sending them to her soon. The only aspect we do not have completed is Ryan's physical (done tomorrow), Dave's physical (will be completed on 2/28) and our TB tests. Since we will have everything handed in on the 28th we are hoping she can move quickly in preparing the report. Which means raising money as soon as we can as well. We still need help to raise the funds needed for our travel and expenses in Eastern Europe.

I am sorry that I don't have the excitement of a giveaway right now. I realize that most people do not like to part with their hard earned money without something in return either a chance at a prize or something they view as tangible. Cliff is a living breathing little boy who is real who is tangible. A little boy stuck in an orphanage, unwanted in his society because of something that he had no control over. A little boy who will have no chance in his current situation. A little boy whose life is too precious to waste away in an orphanage or institution. Please look inside your heart and take a look at Cliff's picture. Consider donating to bringing him home.Your donation is saving his life and as always any donation you make to bringing Cliff home is a donation you can claim on your taxes. Since it is tax season, we always see the option to check the box to donate to our presidential election. Maybe this year you can donate something to a better cause- Cliff. If I could get 1400 people to donate just once $10.00 his grant would be covered. Would a one time donation of $10.00 be something you could offer? They say the internet is a powerful tool in our world. I am hoping that will be the case because our family needs your help and we can't do this alone. Please share our story and help me find 1400 people willing to help. God bless everyone and thanks for reading!

For those wishing to send a check you can send it to (please make sure you put in the memo for Cliff/Warner family)
