Today...

Today my dryer decided to stop working :( Doesn't that seem to always happen when you seriously do not need it happening? Didn't Murphy get my memo that until I get this adoption completed that his law is not suppose to apply to us? Well Wednesday we shall know whether the repairman can breathe new life into it.

Today I found out Jacob needs little braces for his feet/legs. Anyone who knows my struggle in keeping his glasses on will know that I have a battle ahead of me on this. It is a necessary evil but hard to explain that to a stubborn toddler you know?

Today I found out that Cody will not receive financial aid for college. We will have to apply for a student loan for him. Wonder if we will be able to get two loans if we can't raise enough funds?

Today I found out that having a giveaway online is very difficult. Apparently you need to have a way for people to win items without having to purchase or donate anything. And apparently for every 1000 or so people that visit only 1-2 will actually donate. And without that clause of entering with no strings attached it can jeopardize any funds we do make for Cliff/Joshua.

Today is Valentines Day. Today Cliff/Joshua still is alone. Today he will not receive a card or candy. Today he will not get extra kisses and hugs. In fact, today he will probably receive NONE. Wonder if he will get a fresh diaper today or if they will just rinse it out? They do that with even disposables you know? Wonder if he gets something special to eat or the same mush? Wonder if he can feel our love so very far away?

Today my heart is breaking. Today the mountain seems so high, the goal so far.

Dear God can TODAY just be over?

  2. Your heart sounds so heavy today and my heart is burdened for you. You have support through prayer and that above all else is a very powerful thing.

  8. Praying for your family and your journey. Faith and prayer will work this out!!

As far as student loans, those are the easiest loans to get and shouldn't be difficult. They dont ask for as much as they do when you are trying to secure different types of loans (if you are applying through FAFSA first) so dont be discouraged. And encourage Cody to seek out grants and scholarships as well.

The clause for the way to win without purchasing anything is to allow people an entry to your give-a-way by asking them to blog, fb, tweet, send emails etc for an entry.

Praying for your family and your journey to bring this adorable little guy home! thinking of ways to help.... things will work out!!! It's His promise!
