Last homestudy visit and more

Our last homestudy visit is completed. She has our homestudy pretty much done minus the interviews with our children. She is writing it up and completing it on Sunday. At that point she will email me a copy of the homestudy so I can make sure everything is included that we need for Joshua's country. I should have hard copies of my homestudy by Wednesday at the latest at which time one copy will be sent to USCIS to go with our file and get assigned a worker. We are getting there!! We were approved for 2 children if we so choose.

So now, my blog would not be complete if I did not add some tear jerking words or story. Sorry if it causes anyone sadness but the truth is it IS sad and until people realize what goes on then nothing will change. Remember the story of Kirill? The little boy denied a family because the judge basically said he would not add anything beneficial to the family? Well I saw a video of him with his forever mommy and I will let you judge.




The family is asking for prayers while they appeal this judges decision. They are asking that we share their story and the story of their son in hopes that the outcry will pave the way for them to bring their son home and help pave the way for the 2 other families facing their court days. The Davis' need our support more than ever. They are not asking for money but prayers. EVERYONE can offer those up.
