So close I can almost feel him...

We are still anxiously awaiting our travel date. Two families that were submitted the same day as we were received theirs yesterday. They will have their appointment on June 9th so they will be traveling on the 7th. Dates are given about 2 weeks out leaving little time for us to try to raise the additional funds we need. Please consider donating anything to our adoption.. what you might feel is a small amount is really huge for us at this stage. Every single dollar brings us closer. Like my title of my blog says we are so close that we can almost feel him. Feel him in our arms.. feel his little hands in mine.. feel his soft skin when I kiss him.

A little birdie told me that little Blake may have a family!! This same birdie may have mentioned that my blog post advocating for him was instrumental in their decision. This just makes me so happy!! More than anything I wanted to be a voice for these children and I always believed it was about exposure for these children and all it takes is the right person to view one of these children and say- yes that is my child. There are several steps this family must take to make and I can't divulge who this family is yet but as soon as they give me the go ahead I will be dedicating a post to that family. Please pray for them as they proceed.

I am finding it so difficult to concentrate these days. Knowing that we might very well be only a couple weeks out of traveling to see Joshua!! As much as we are worried about leaving Jacob home we know that it is the only way we can bring our other son home and we are just ready to roll. We know the sooner we embark on this part of our journey the sooner we can come home as a completed family.
