Our visits with Joshua are getting so much better. They were never "bad" but he is showing just so much more true connections to us. Before when entering his groupa we would reach out to him and he would smile but we just mostly assumed it was because the child LOVES movement. It is truly like a ride to him and he will go back and forth from Dave and I and just giggle. Today we entered the room and did not reach out to him and he got so excited as soon as he saw us and he did the reaching for us. It really felt like a oh you are back for me yay kinda moment. Maybe because he is catching on to my bribery with banana but I will take it.
Also I think I have mentioned he is a bit uneasy when he is laid down or in that position. He has always seemed to be fearful or uncomfortable giving that much control over. Today Dave cradled him like a baby and their was no resistance and he fell asleep. He didn't jar awake when he was passed to me either. For me that is progress. This little boy has firmly encased himself into my heart and I look forward to having all my babies under one roof... and yes that includes my bigger babies. Speaking of which- we are super excited to know that we will for sure be home when our oldest has his Navy leave this month. So for at least a couple of weeks I will have each and every one of my baby boys home at one time. THAT will be the BEST moment of this summer I think. It will rival when the judge allowed our adoption but to be surrounded by the loves of my life all at one time.. yep that moment will win.
I wanted to give a shout out to two families working to adopt two of the children in Joshua's groupa. I have been fortunate to get some new pictures of their little ones. They are both beautiful and both very lucky to have families working hard for them. Their names are Jeremy and Blake on RR. I am not going to post the new pictures of them well because I feel that those new pictures are theirs to share. However, I know both families are in a need for financial help to complete their adoptions. I am posting the boys pictures and if you click on their pictures it will take you to their families blog. Please consider helping them out and sharing their stories. These boys are the first to greet us with smiles and the last as well. I would love to help ease the financial burden of adoption for them.
