Tomorrow is our last homestudy appointment!! Yay! Good news is that I know she has been already writing it up as well. She contacted me on Tuesday asking to resend her our education hours log. I had sent it over a week ago with no response so her contacting me to resend on Tuesday means she has been writing it up with the information she has already which is basically everything! She interviews the kids tomorrow and hopefully uses the weekend finishing up. Big hurdle will be out of the way so bring on the next :)
I would like to personally thank Jere who saw our number stagnant and donated another 100.00 for our journey. I can't tell you how much all of the donations have moved us and continue to move us. I mentioned about an upcoming fundraising opportunity coming up in the near future and I am hoping some big things happen with it. Not only for us on our journey but for some other families on their journeys as well. Families such as the Taylors, Kehm's, Tam's and the Burlinghams. Of course in the end I would like to contribute to funding for many of RR children. Maybe I have too big of plans but I prefer to dream big. I can't bring them all home but I refuse to say I can't do anything to help others as well as myself. I want to do some big things in the future- and hopefully with your help we can do it. I always say not everyone can adopt but we all do have within our power to be a voice for those who do not have them or those whose voices are suppressed by ignorance. Stay tuned for more info coming. I am just waiting for the organization who is helping me on this to contact me saying we are ready to roll. I pray that it succeeds and we bring home not only Joshua but many others as well.
Right now the Beamish family is struggling to raise an addition 10k before they leave on SUNDAY!! Their daughter Kameron has already been transferred the horrible place while the family was in the process of adopting her. They need help to bring her home. She has waited far to long for a family- we can't sit idly by and not do something. Maybe you can spare a few dollars and enter to win an Ipad2 while you are at it. Remember Lera- through God's grace and the help of many she is now fully funded. Let's pray to God to move this mountain and help this family. Click on Kameron's beautiful face to go to her momma's blog. Let's move this mountain and bring her home!!
