Good morning,
USCIS is aware of the situation in unnamed country . We have been issued guidance to keep unnamed country cases on the path that they are already on for normal processing.
Please know we are working as fast as we canon all the I600 and I600A applications that are sent to USCIS in the order in which they are received.
Good news is they are aware of the situation- Bad news is they are aware of the situation. Meaning to me that there is a definite reality that a shut down is on the horizon. For how long?? Great question- estimates are 3-4 months. So if I do not get submitted by either June 1st or closer to June 12th, I am out of luck until they reopen. Meaning my documents start expiring. After making another plea to USCIS this morning, I spoke to a gal who seemed willing to help at least get my oldest sons fingerprint letter to us. This would be a big boost for us since the trip to the fingerprinting appointment is quite a distance plus until we are all fingerprinting we can't get approval on our petition. She took my phone number and I am just hoping to hear some good news from her today.
Today we woke up to the police knocking on our door. Seems that someone stole a vehicle from someone they had a gripe with and wanted some sort of revenge. That revenge came by slamming into our parked car in the front of our house. Good news is we are a victim in a criminal case and the suspect confessed. Bad news is we are a victim in a criminal case and our car only had PLPD meaning we do not get any compensation. Good news is that we will get some compensation when we file with the prosecutor for restitution. Bad news is it is a criminal case which will probably include some jail time meaning restitution if it even comes could be years. So we are without the vehicle that Dave uses to go to work. We are praying that it even can be fixed and that we will be able to pay for it to be at least drivable. Don't care how ugly it looks at this point it just needs to be able to roll on down the road in a safe manner. We simply can't afford this right now with trying to save up to get Joshua. We are already looking at pulling out 10k apparently from our derriere (just trying to find some humor) and this just could not have come at a worse time. Apparently we must be doing something right because the devil is in full force to try and stray us away from our path. He will have to do better than this... my resolve is as strong as ever to get to my son.
Final piece of good news is we got our Jacob Warner print!! Can I just say love love love it? I was impressed and happy with what they did with it. We are still selling them and have the giftaway still going!! Please consider buying one and helping to our fund.
