For these children

So yesterday was a pity and all about me party. Today I just wanted to give a few updates for those that have followed my blog.

Remember this little guy?

Praise God he has found his forever family!! I do not know yet who the lucky little guys family is but more importantly they can hurry and save this guy from certain death!!

And this little boy?

The little boy whose country denied his adoption feeling he was of no benefit to his forever family? Well on May 24th that family stood before the Supreme Court in his country and fought to bring him home and praise God the court reversed the initial ruling and they will be bringing him home very soon. Soon as in about 5 days!!!

And who can forget Carrington?

 

The little girl that was within days of her body giving up. Who managed to hold on just long enough for her parents to rescue her! Well look at this beauty now sleeping in her bed fit for the princess she is! She has gained 5 lbs since coming home to where she belonged!

All this is wonderful news but we can't stop advocating for these children. For every child that is saved there are many more waiting. Many more that are wasting away waiting. We look at pictures and we do not always understand the magnitude of what is behind those pictures.. what is under those layers in the pictures.
Such as the case of Dusty- who I ask that you pray for him to get healthy as well.

I can only hope and pray that when we peel off Joshua's layers that we do not find him in this condition.

Please continue to pray for all the families adopting and rescuing their children. Pray that God watches over each and every one of them until their forever families get to them or are found.
I am going to ask that you also keep little Blake in your prayers and help find a forever family for him. I will not stop trying to find him a family that he so deserves!

We still need to be the voices for these children. They are truly innocents in a world that has not been good to them and only we can help to change that. Through donating to families adopting, adopting yourself, prayers, or just educating those around you. We should not live in a world that casts aside children so easily for something that was beyond their own control!
