Saturday chatter

Yesterday the reporter for our newspaper called. She wants to add more information from us so she is not running our story tomorrow. She is going to come to our home on Monday to ask more questions. I had to laugh when she said something about adding more color... I mean by now she would realize we are just ordinary people and our lives aren't all that exciting lol.

So I am practicing my whole patience issues :) I am going to wait till Friday to call the USCIS office to find out if we have been assigned an officer yet. Part of our requirement is going to be getting fingerprinted again. This time we will drive a couple of hours away for this one. My oldest son will have to be fingerprinted as well since he has turned 18. Praying that they can get our fingerprinting appointments set up quickly. I saw someone else blog that this part was like the second trimester of our paper pregnancy. The home study is the first trimester, waiting on USCIS approval to adopt an orphan is the second, the third is getting submitted to the unknown country. Then the birth- meeting your child, court and the 10 day wait to bring him home. I just would love to blink and be at the bringing him home stage. I just have to have faith and trust in God that we get there quickly and before any changes come if they are coming at all.

I am still hoping Jacob's art fundraiser will be able to start in the next couple of days. Even if the story does not run we need to really start actively fundraising for our adoption. We are still looking at a June travel which leaves us only a couple of months to raise the money. With a confirmation of one son and a graduation of another coming up it is going to be more of a challenge for us. Plus I am so proud of my son who is going to Nationals in Washington DC for his Business Professional Association in his high school. He and a few fellow students programmed a 3D computer game and won an award. That is probably going to be an additional expense coming up but honestly I am so proud of him and he deserves this award.

Well that is all I have to report for now. Please continue to pray for us and continue to pray for all the children waiting just like Joshua is. Have I said how much I love him lately? I do so much and can't wait till I can actually say it to him.
