Only an hour left for our giftaway. We still are going to be selling Jacob's artwork with part of the proceeds to benefit our adoption. We are also looking into other families selling the artwork on their blogs and them receiving some of the profits as well.
There is not much new to report after the whole approved announcement. A little birdie (ok Amanda) told me there is a new picture of Joshua taken by a family that was just there in the last couple of weeks. I am suppose to get that picture once they are uploaded. I can only imagine how tired the family is after their long journey to bring home 2 precious little girls and I am super excited that they were able to get a picture of him!! Apparently on the last day they were there Joshua joined their daughters groupa. What great timing!! God is good!! As soon as I get a new picture of him, I will be posting. Warning it will probably be a mushy, gushy, heartfelt, good ole momma pouring her heart out post :)
Tomorrow is mother's day and I am feeling a bit nostalgic. Trevor is on a ship in the Pacific, Cody is in Washington DC for an award (3rd place in nationals for BPA computer programming) and Joshua does not even know that his momma is ready to come get him. Tomorrow Ryan will be taking me for breakfast and I am quite happy to be spending time with him and Jacob but I know that 3 of my sons will be missing and that quite frankly sucks. But alas Cody will be coming home tomorrow night, Trevor is coming home end of July and Joshua will hopefully be home in the states by the beginning of July so that is what keeps me going. The knowledge that soon I will have all my boys here at home. At least until Trevor has to go back.
God has blessed me with some wonderful boys. If someone told me 22 years ago that I would have 5 sons, I would have thought they were nuts. Now I can't imagine my life without them. I can't even imagine my life without Joshua and he is not even here yet. But he is forever etched in my heart. I want to wish every mom out there a Happy Mother's Day. Take the day to just thank God for the blessings he has bestowed on us. I know I will..
Happy Mother's Day!
