IT'S OFFICIAL- WE HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED TO JOSHUA'S COUNTRY!!

I think everyone pretty much knows what this means but for those that do not. It means the authority in his country took our dossier. They will check it over and then issue us an appointment date to come to their country!

Usually it takes a couple of weeks to get our appointment and travel date so a bit more waiting on actual travel dates but breathing a huge sigh of relief that our dossier was accepted and we averted any date that would hurt our expiration dates for our dossier. If there are no major changes to court dates we are looking at travel mid-late June! Meaning by July we will be a family of 6!!

We are still short the funds needed.. by quite a bit but for today it is about celebrating this big step in our adoption and not dwelling on what we do not have. I honestly thought by most accounts our travel would be 8 months out from our start of our journey. We have moved faster than anticipated and through all the gripes and stress we really have moved mountains in a short time.

To our little boy Joshua- from the moment I laid eyes on you... I knew! I knew that you were to be our son. I have worked hard to make it happen and have had the help of a village to reach you. Our journey is not yet complete but we are coming and we can't wait to meet you and bring you home. I love you little boy- always and forever!
