Baptism

Here are a few pictures of Joshua's baptism tonight. There will be more as soon as his godmother uploads more and sends them to me. Most of them are from my camera which is so not the quality of hers lol. The first 3 are shots she took.

He did pretty good but I will have to say he was not all that thrilled with water over his head but not a tear was shed! We gave him some cake afterwards and talk about funny. I think in the orphanage he was basically made to keep his hands down to his sides while eating. I have noticed this every time I feed him. We are working on him trying to pick up or place his fingers into food and then putting them in his mouth but so far he just plays with it and really does not "get" the whole eating himself concept. Such a contrast from Jacob who we could barely get his shirt off before the whole cake got shoved in his mouth. Joshua was so neat about it. In fact, he would hardly play with his cake and when Jake's was gone he reached over to Joshua's tray and snagged the cake quickly.
Have I said how much I love this little boy?
Stay tuned to my next post where I will be blogging about two special families and their journeys to bring their boys home!

  5. Hi
My name is Jenna and I came across your site. Joshua is adorable and cute. He is an inspirational hero. I was born with a rare life threatening disease, and developmental delays. I love it when people sign my guestbook. www.miraclechamp.webs.com
