I did not blog yesterday well because it seems I have come down with a nasty bug of sorts. Not sure if it is a simple cold or sinus infection but my head feels twice as large and I just generally feel yucky. Thankfully I was able to play charades of sorts with the anteka (pharmacy) almost directly below us and she gave me something that will hopefully help. I think it basically amounts to alka seltzer cold. Before leaving the states my doctor sent a zpack antibiotics with both Dave and I. I was hoping maybe to give it time to run its course in case I did not need it but we have court on Wednesday and since I am sounding so horrible I thought if it was an infection starting sooner would be better.
We visited with Joshua in the morning as I was feeling somewhat human but as the day wore on I got worse so we had to skip the visit in the evening and this morning. We are unsure if we will be able to make tonights visit either because Lisa Brown is having her gotcha day today for Adam and Sam on RR. She is in region all alone while her husband awaits her in Kiev so she is in need of an extra pair of hands to get them all on the train and settled in for the 16 hour train ride. Since I am sick and do not want to pass this on to ANY of the children, Dave was going to visit Joshua later but our visit time falls within the time frame Lisa needs help so today we will probably miss the visit all together. Breaks my heart but if I get him sick then our visits will stop altogether and that would cost us more than one day so tomorrow bright and early we will see him. Anyway you get the idea-- sorry for rambling on again my head is in such a fog.
Anyway the early visit went well but when we got there they could not find either of his two spring/summer outfits. So they pulled out a sweatsuit for him to wear. I knew it was going to be warm for him but then they proceeded to put the sweatsuit on over his pajamas. ACK poor child. It was like 80 degrees outside. We figured we would attempt to take him to the playroom but the door was locked and there was nobody in the offices to get the key so we had to take him outside. We only visited for about an hour because I just didn't want him to be so uncomfortable. Here are some pictures of our visit. We have a video but that will come tomorrow or another day when I feel better. Pray that I get better quickly- being sick stinks and being sick so far from home even stinks more.
So sorry you are sick. Praying you recovery quickly and get some much needed rest especially before court on Wed!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the photos but the last, oh my heart soars. He is all snuggle bug withyou.
